After the long winter, Children’s Hope India’s annual luncheon fundraiser was the much-needed Spring Break for women from the tri-state area. Our Spring luncheon was a true celebration of color, love, and generosity! 350+ lovely ladies came together for an afternoon of laughter, joy, and shopping to support CHI’s newest project, the 30/30 Education Initiative. Our new venue, Leonard’s Palazzo sparkled with the colors and flowers of spring, as did our guests. A marketplace showcasing the products of several young women entrepreneurs created buzz and drew buyers for apparel, jewelry and desserts. From nosh to shopping, this event had it all!

Our Woman of Distinction was the evergreen, supremely talented Chandrika Tandon who brought the audience together with her rousing speech. Tandon was particularly strong on her passions – women’s emotional and economic well-being and music. Her music enchanted all of us. Hats off to CHI’s Luncheon Benefit Committee; their creativity and tireless efforts made Luncheon 2023 an outstanding success, our biggest to date.
