An Evening with Deepak Chopra for Myanmar Relief
When Deepak Chopra talks, everyone listens! There was pin-drop silence as the noted author and philosopher took the stage at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, taking the audience on a spiritual journey. Over 170 people came to listen to him speak about his perspectives on the world, touching everything from war and peace to spirituality and how to obtain it.

$500,000 RAISED AT CHILDREN’S HOPE CRYSTAL BALL
The evening more than met its goal of raising at least half a million dollars for health and education in India . Over 600 movers and shakers from the tristate area came together at Pier Sixty in Manhattan for the Crystal Ball, organized by Children’s Hope India to celebrate its 15th year of service to children.

CH2 Tsunami Fund Raiser
Children’s Hope held a Tsunami Fundraiser January 25, 2005 and raised over $10,000 thanks to the enthusiastic outreach by our CH2 members. These funds are going toward providing long-term relief in the fishing villages of Tamil Nadu.

CH2 Wine & Cheese & Art
Over 100 guests enjoyed the art, music, food, and drinks at the Gallery Arts India on Thursday, April 28, 2005. A diverse crowd came out to support CH2 and enjoyed an evening with one another and with the artwork of India. Many thanks to the gallery for hosting the event. And another Thank You to all those who attended and made the event a huge success.

Annual Fundraising Gala:
You could call it Broadway on Bowery Street! At The Capitale, the downtown hot spot, there were noted names like Phylicia Rashad, the Tony award winning actress, Madhur Jaffrey, who has acted in theater on three continents, Aasif Mandvi, the star of Guantanamo, and the stars of Bombay Dreams – Manu Narayan, Krystal Kiran Garib, and Sriram Ganesan.
